Features innovative flow measurement technologies, broad product
portfolio and commitment to sustainability
MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 4, 2016--
Badger
Meter, Inc. (NYSE: BMI) today announced the opening of its new
Customer Experience Center (CEC) located at its corporate headquarters
in Milwaukee.
The new $5.5 million, 38,000 square foot facility showcases the
company’s industry-leading technology, broad flow measurement product
line and commitment to sustainability, and includes the largest indoor
flowmeter testing facility in North America. The CEC also features a
300-seat auditorium and several training and conference rooms.
“The new Customer Experience Center shows how we can meet the flow
measurement needs of our municipal water and flow instrumentation
customers through an interactive experience focused on products, markets
and capabilities. We want customers to see how our products are made and
tested and why they are the best in the market,” said Richard A.
Meeusen, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Badger Meter.
The theme of “Every Drop Counts” greets visitors to the center and
highlights Badger Meter’s commitment to helping customers measure and
monitor their sustainability initiatives, achieve process efficiencies
and conserve natural resources.
Interactive touch-screen stations demonstrate how Badger Meter products
enable customers to “Measure What Matters,” in key markets including
municipal water, HVAC, chemical, food & beverage and oil & gas. Short
videos tell the Badger Meter story from the perspective of its water
utility and flow instrumentation customers and also describe the
metering technologies used to monitor the company’s water usage and
water conservation initiatives at its Milwaukee headquarters.
In addition to learning more about the company’s product portfolio,
customers can also tour the indoor flowmeter testing facility used for
product development and product testing. “Our engineering and testing
capabilities are the foundation of our industry leadership. They ensure
the accuracy and reliability of our products and the high quality of our
manufacturing,” said Meeusen.
Meeusen said the new CEC will be used for customer meetings, training
sessions and conferences, as well as for employee meetings, tours and
local events. The renovation of existing space for the new facility also
included creating a fitness center for company employees.
“Badger Meter has been headquartered in Milwaukee since its founding in
1905. We believe our investment in the new CEC is an investment in our
company and our community that will benefit our customers, employees and
shareholders for many years to come,” added Meeusen.
